Single-phase sockets and socket circuits are usually protected by a 16 A circuit breaker and we can use the 16 A relay outputs of the Foxtrot system for their control (switching).
Depending on the location requirement of the switching element, we can use it:
-
relay outputs located in the switchboard (typically C-OR-0008M, C-OR-0011M-800modules, 16 A outputs of the C-HM-1121M module and their RFox variants), see this article
-
placed in the installation box C-OR-0202B and R-OR-0001B, see this article
For switching 3f sockets, usually with a higher rated current (32 A, etc.) it is necessary to use an external contactor dimensioned for the respective current and switched by the relay output of the system. It is advisable to treat the contactor (its controlled coil) as an inductive load, ie to use interference suppression elements as described in this article.
