Rain detector S-RS-01I with module C-IS-0504M

The S-RS-01I rain detector connected to the C-IS-0504M module, which provides power to the heating and the measurement of the detector, is intended for the detection of precipitation, eg for automatic retraction of awnings, closing of roof windows. Unused inputs and outputs can be used as general AI / DI and DO.

Notes:

1. The length of the cable between the S-RS-01I sensor and the C-IS-0504M module can be up to approx. 20 m, any cable is sufficient, eg SYKFY, UTP, etc., it is necessary to take into account the location of the cable in the outdoor environment.
2. The detector has a separate NTC12k temperature sensor (gray wires), its own humidity sensor (black wires) and a heating element (yellow wires), always without polarity resolution.
3. The temperature sensor is equipped with a standard NTC 12k thermistor, the humidity sensor is measured as a resistance in the range of approx. Tens of kΩ (wet sensor) up to 1 MΩ (dry sensor), the heating element has a power input of approx. 2 W when supplied with 24 VDC
4. all wires are inside the box in a length of about 100 mm, stranded wires terminated with a crimped sleeve
