The CP-2091 module can be powered from 24 VDC or 230 VAC (typical voltage value).
If the module is going to be powered from 230 VAC then it must be connected to terminals C8 and C9. The terminals A3 and A4 intended for an external 24 VDC source are inoperative and remain disconnected.
The 230 VAC power input is protected by a non-user-replaceable time-delay fuse and subsequently by a varistor.
Power input 230 VAC
| Internal fuse for 230 VAC power input | internal time-delay fuse, 1 A , breaking capacity 35 A |
| Input overvoltage protection | internal varistor 300 VAC, Breakdown Voltage 470 V |
| Internal 230 VAC to 24 VDC power supply | |
| Permissible input voltage range (terminals C8 and C9) | 80 ÷ 260 VAC (47 ÷ 400 Hz) or 113 ÷ 300 VDC |
| Cold start (Inrush Current) | 25 A at 115 VAC, 45 A at 230 VAC |
| Maximum power output | 10 W |
| Current consumption from 230 VAC | max. 0,2 A |
Power input 24 VDC
The 24 VDC power input is protected by a varistor, a resettable fuse and a TVS diode.
| Internal fuse for 24 VDC power input | resettable fuse rated at 1 A |
| input overvoltage protection |
internal varistor 45 VDC, Clamping voltage 90 V, |
| Permissible supply voltage range 24 VDC | +25% ÷ –15%, the source must meet SELV requirements |
| Maximum power consumption | 10 W |
