
RGC1P23V12ED Single-Phase Solid-State Relay Module
Description
The RGC1P23V12ED is a single-phase solid-state relay (SSR) module for AC loads up to 15 A and is manufactured by Carlo Gavazzi Ltd. The device is distributed in the Czech Republic by companies such as ENIKA. It is used for contactless switching of resistive and slightly inductive loads. The input signal is galvanically isolated from the output, and switching is implemented in several ways, depending on the switch settings—see the documentation.
The module is designed for DIN rail mounting; to ensure the rated current of 23 A, an additional heat sink is required.

Dimensioning and Cooling
For a full load of 23 A, the module must be mounted on a suitable heatsink. Without a heat sink, it is recommended to limit the maximum current to approximately 10–15 A, depending on the ambient temperature.
Recommended minimum values for heat sink thermal resistance (Rth):
- for 23 A: ≤ 1.5 K/W
- for 15 A: natural convection cooling or a DIN heat sink with Rth of approximately 3 K/W
Ensure adequate ventilation and vertical orientation of the module.
