Ten years ago, in addition to the Tecomat Foxtrot, the first iPhone and a little later an iPad tablet were launched. The market for these mobile devices has reached about the tenth generation and two main operating systems, iOS and Android, have crystallized. During that time, these devices dominated the pockets, handbags and briefcases of most of the world's population. With their functionality and performance, they have become equivalent to wall-mounted graphic panels, which used to be the prerogative of only a few brands that entered the home automation market in the field of multimedia control and home cinema. More or less successful wall mounts for these devices have also emerged, trying to combine mobility with a fixed place on the wall where batteries are recharged for further mobile use.
The practice of users who have devoted themselves to controlling the house only from mobile devices has shown that it is sometimes impractical, and therefore some return to a display that has a permanent location, a permanent power supply and a wired connection to the home network. Not only for these users, we have met the needs and included in the range a comprehensive size range of touch screens called abbreviation APPC expressing the Android Panel PC or more precisely the Android Tablet PC. What are the characteristics of these de facto tablets in addition to the graduated size? All of them use the Android operating system, whose built-in browser in version 5 already correctly interprets Foxtrot web pages with objects created in the WEB macro using the "canvas" technology. The panels have a resolution of at least 1024 × 600 pixels and from the size of 15 "they have a resolution of Full HD, so it is possible to create top control graphics for them. The main advantage of predestining these panels for use in conjunction with Foxtroty is the mode where the panel, after turning off and on, enters itself into a full-screen browser without an address bar. That is, without any additional text, graphics or frame. What is created in the WEB macro is on the screen. The setting of the home address directed to Foxtrot in the LAN network is performed in the service mode, which the normal user does not get into, so he cannot leave the application, as can happen with a regular phone or tablet. The panels are powered from a 12 V adapter. They are also available with a version of power supply via Ethernet, ie PoE. They can be connected to the LAN both by cable and via integrated WiFi.
