Inputs and Outputs

The CP-2061 controller contains the following built-in inputs and outputs:

Inputs

  • 4× universal inputs DI0–DI3
    Each input can be configured as:

    • a binary input (10 V DC or potential-free contact),

    • analog input (range 0–10 V / 0–2 V, 12-bit ADC),

    • input for a passive resistance sensor (e.g., Pt1000, Ni1000, NTC),

    • counter input (cannot be combined with analog mode).

Outputs

  • 4× relay outputs DO0–DO3

    • max. 250 V / 3 A AC or DC,

    • galvanically isolated,

    • organized into 2 groups (DO0+DO1 and DO2+DO3) with a single common terminal.

  • 3× transistor outputs PWM0–PWM2

    • 24 V DC, max. 0.5 A continuous (MOSFET, low-side),

    • capable of operating in PWM mode (frequency and duty cycle configurable in the application),

    • outputs are not galvanically isolated,

    • share terminals with analog outputs (AO0–AO2).

  • 3× analog outputs AO0–AO2

    • voltage outputs 0–10 V, 12-bit DAC,

    • max. output current 10 mA,

    • activated by switching solder jumpers instead of PWM outputs (separately for each).

Communication Interfaces

  • 1× 10/100 Mb Ethernet (RJ-45)

  • 2× serial channels (RS-485, without galvanic isolation)

  • 1× USB host (Type A)

  • NFC memory (internal); see example of use in this article

  • 1× CIB (Common Installation Bus) line for CFox modules (max. 32 modules, internal power supply 400 mA)

Optional (depending on module variant):

  • internal WiFi interface (WLAN1),

  • external WiFi via USB (WLAN2 – see documentation for supported adapters).

Power Supply and Mechanical Specifications

  • Supply voltage: 24 V DC ±25% (SELV)

  • Maximum power consumption: 10 W

  • Width: 4M (70 mm), Height: 90 mm, Depth: 58 mm

  • Mounting: on a 35 mm DIN rail

  • Terminals: removable, max. wire cross-section: 2.5 mm²

Central Unit

  • J series, Cortex-A5 500 MHz processor (1 core)

  • Memory for user program: 2 MB

  • Memory for variables: 512 kB (of which 48 kB is RETAIN)

  • Integrated RTC with capacitive backup (approx. 500 h)

  • File system: 128 MB internal disk, USB Flash and microSD support

  • Integrated web server and data logger

  • Support for program changes during operation (online editing)

  • Development environment: Mosaic version 2024.1 or later
