The AtreaLib library is now available for the integration of Atrea heat recovery units equipped with digital controls. Communication between the Foxtrot system and the ATREA heat recovery unit uses the Modbus TCP protocol. The commands for controlling the heat recovery units support the following units: EC4 / ECV4, Flexi, R4 and Multi. One basic Foxtrot module can control up to several dozen connected recuperation units.
Monitoring functions are supported, eg status of inputs and outputs, error reporting, current unit status, current power, ventilated zone, etc. It is also possible to control and manage the connected units, eg ventilated space setting, number of people, season, cooling, preheating setting , required temperatures, parameters for by-pass, etc.
EC4 / ECV4 recuperation units
Atrea EC / ECV units (Duplex 180 EC4, DUPLEX 190 ECV4, etc.) have two fans, a countercurrent heat exchanger with condensate drainage, an automatic by-pass damper and terminals for additional connection of meters, controllers, dampers and air heaters (water and direct) . Function modes: ventilation and periodic ventilation. For EC units: possibility to set the unit orientation

Flexi heat recovery units
Atrea Flexi units (DUPLEX Flexi 1100, 1600, 2600, 3600) have two fans, a counter-current heat exchanger with condensate drainage, and an automatic by-pass damper. It can be further expanded with additional meters, controller, heaters (water and direct) and air coolers (cooler, reversible heat exchanger). Function modes: Automatic ventilation and air conditioning (optionally also overpressure mode). Possibility to set the orientation of the unit.

It can be further expanded with additional meters, controller, heaters (water, direct and heat pump) and air coolers (cooler, reversible heat exchanger). Function modes: Equal pressure ventilation, overpressure ventilation, circulation ventilation, circulation, dependent circulation.

Multi heat recovery units
Atrea Multi units (500, 1000, 1500 ...) have two fans, a counter-current heat exchanger, a by-pass damper and a mixing damper, the possibility of integrated heating and cooling. Possibility of further expansion with additional meters, controller, heater (PWM - electric, analog water, reversible heat exchanger, heat pump, contact water) and air cooler (cooler, reversible heat exchanger). Function modes: Automatic ventilation, ventilation, circulation. Possibility to set the orientation of the unit.

Tecomat systems are connected to ATREA heat recovery units via an Ethernet network. The switch used in the example is a SX-1162 DIN rail module.
