The C-KY-0002R is a wall-mounted keypad with capacitive buttons designed for access control and security systems. It includes an RFID reader, a temperature and humidity sensor, and a universal AI/DI input for connecting temperature sensors (e.g., room temperature, outdoor temperature), window contacts, switches, etc. It supports standard functions of a security system, including arming, disarming, perimeter protection modes, etc.
The module also includes one digital output (DO1) and one standard lock designed for door control, e.g., an electromagnetic door opener.
The output can directly control a lock with a supply voltage of 5–48 VDC and a maximum current of 150 mA, such as the FAB Profi 2411 MB 20–24 V AC/DC electric strike, which draws 115 mA at 24 VDC. If a higher current is required, the S-OS-0001S-60 switching module can be used, which is suitable for switching up to 60 VDC/VAC at a maximum of 600 mA; for 230 VAC, the S-OS-0001S-230 variant is available.
The module is controlled using capacitive buttons that detect short and long presses. The delay for long presses can be adjusted in the module configuration. The button codes are shown in Fig. 2.
The module features user-controllable white-backlit keys, as well as red and green indicator LEDs.
The module is equipped with an RFID reader operating at a frequency of 13.56 MHz, which enables the reading of unique identification codes (UIDs) from RFID cards or tags.
The terminal block is a miniature spring-loaded push-in type.

Note:
- DO1 is a transistor output, electrically isolated from the module’s other circuits; the insulation voltage is 500 V
- The maximum switching voltage of the DO1 output is 60 VDC; the maximum switching current is 150 mA
- The figure shows the direct switching of an electromagnetic opener powered by a 24 VDC source; a single source can power multiple openers controlled independently by C-KY-0002R modules
- For higher currents (up to 600 mA) and, if necessary, AC voltages up to 60 VAC, the S-OS-0001S-60 external module can be used
