The IB-7311 module is designed for scanning of up to 32 binary signals 24 VDC with minus common pole, type 3 and it is designed primarily for the connections of external module to a DIN bar of series IB-04xx. The module is fitted with two connectors, to which always 16 inputs are brought. The module has intelligent input circuits, which require connecting 24 VDC external supply voltage.
